Postabortion Care (PAC) Consortium/ Technologies Task Force
The PAC Consortium was established in 1993 by Ipas, AVSC (now EngenderHealth), JHPIEGO, Pathfinder and IPPF, and additional organizations joined in subsequent years. The mission of the consortium is to encourage USAID, UNFPA and other international donors and agencies in the population/reproductive health field to address the issue of unsafe abortion in their policies and programs, advance awareness of unsafe abortion, mobilize global support for PAC programs and improve the quality of care provided to women. Gynuity is an active member of this group and currently serves as the co-chair of the PAC Technologies Task Force along with John Snow Inc. (JSI).
