Ms. Bracken received her B.A. in Asian Studies from Dartmouth College. She also holds a Master of Health Sciences degree from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Department of Population and Family Health, a Master of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley, Department of South Asian Studies, and a doctoral degree in history from the University of Virginia. Before joining Gynuity, she was a Staff Program Associate at the Population Council, where she was involved with clinical studies of mifepristone medical abortion and social science research related to abortion. Ms. Bracken was also a Peace Corps volunteer in Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa.
