Ms. Corredor graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a Bachelors in Health Sciences. During her undergrad she had the opportunity to work with communites in Colombia, Costa Rica, India and South Africa; as well as to work on developing awareness of social determinents of health with the Health Services Agency of Santa Cruz County. In New York, Perla worked on the Affordable HOME Study at Albert Einstein College of Medicine on understanding how housing and neighborhood resources affect the health of the Latino population in the Bronx, NY.
