Clare Waite has extensive international experience working in the field of human rights, reproductive and maternal health, and global poverty reduction. Before joining Gynuity, Clare worked at the Guttmacher Institute as primary communications liaison with overseas media and partner organizations. Her prior work experience includes positions at the Center for Global Development in Europe, the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), Marie Stopes International, and Amnesty International. She holds a BA Hons in modern languages and contemporary history from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom. She is fluent in Italian and French, has a strong working knowledge of Spanish, and an understanding of Portuguese.
