Gynuity in Egypt
Gynuity has been working with local colleagues in Cairo and Alexandria to conduct a multi-country clinical trial to evaluate misoprostol for treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. A second large trial in collaboration with the World Health Organization is being conducted to study misoprostol as an adjunct treatment for PPH along with oxytocin.
Gynuity is also currently conducting a large study with local partners to assess the feasibility of introducing misoprostol for postabortion care, specifically for the treatment of incomplete abortion.
