Gynuity in Ghana
In collaboration with national and international colleagues working in Ghana, Gynuity supported a project to introduce mifepristone at two major hospitals. The study was completed in October 2006, and local partners continue efforts to advocate for introduction of the method into a range of service delivery settings.
Gynuity has also worked with local colleagues to evalute the use of misoprostol for treatment of incomplete abortion in hospital settings, compared to standard surgical care.
