Gynuity in India

Gynuity works with a range of collaborating institutions on several of our key program areas. We conduct clinical research on medical abortion regimen improvement and support local colleagues to expand services to different levels of the health care system. We have also initiated studies to evaluate misoprostol for treatment of incomplete abortion.

Gynuity Activities

Other areas of study include:

  • Comparing measurement techniques for assessing blood loss during normal vaginal delivery; this work complements a larger multi-country trial evaluating misoprostol for treatment of postpartum hemorrhage.
  • Testing a specialized pump for the delivery of magnesium sulfate for treatment of pre-eclampsia.
