The BPAS conference ‘Pills in Practice’, held at London’s Royal Society of Medicine on 11 May 2012, brought together renowned speakers from Britain, Europe and America to discuss how abortion and contraception policy can best meet the needs of women in the 21st century. Dr. Beverly Winikoff, Gynuity President, gave a keynote speech outlining the innovations and improvements that have been made in the US with medical abortion in early pregnancy.
