This Letter to the Editor provides a response to a recent article in which the authors argued that increased use of emergency contraceptive pills (ECPs) would be cost effective due to the subsequent reduction in unintended pregnancies. Raymond et al. provide evidence to the contrary: that extensive research in this area has yet to produce any real evidence of such an effect. Contraception. 2013;87(4):504.
