May 1st, 2023

A presentation of the results from a pilot study performed in Uzbekistan to evaluate a telemedicine medication abortion service delivery model that omits routine facility-based tests—for e.g., pre-abortion ultrasound and blood tests. Our analysis of the data collected at the two participating facilities in Tashkent and Bukhara showed this approach to be safe, effective, and highly acceptable to women and providers.

Presenter Dr. Tamuna Tsereteli, Senior Consulting Associate, Gynuity Health Projects

The presentation will be in Russian and will take place on May 1st, 2023 at a two-day Scientific Conference co-organized by Bukhara State Medical Institute and the Ministry of Health (Uzbekistan).
