Knowledge of Abortion Laws and Services among Low-Income Women in Three United States Cities

This paper reports on a survey administered to low-income and minority women to assess their knowledge of abortion laws and services. First-generation immigrants and primarily Spanish speakers were less likely to have correct knowledge than higher-generation or primarily English speakers. More efforts are needed t about abortion, particularly among migrant women and non-primary English speakers. J Immigrant Minority Health.
