This article reports on a study evaluating misoprostol used in conjunction with routine injectable uterotonics for treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. The findings do not support clinical use of 600mcg sublingual misoprostol in addition to standard injectable uterotonics for treatment of postpartum hemorrhage.
