Vision and Mission

Gynuity Health Projects (Gynuity) is a bold and highly respected research and technical assistance organization dedicated to making new and existing reproductive health technologies more widely available at reasonable cost, provided in the context of high-quality services and offered in a way that recognizes the dignity and autonomy of every individual.

Since 2003, we have worked in the United States and globally and across multiple layers of health systems conducting seminal research on medication abortion, contraception, and obstetric complications. Our peer-reviewed publications are widely cited and used to advance evidence-based protocols, clinical care guidelines, standards of care, and interventions.

Vision

A world in which everyone has access to safe and effective reproductive and maternal health care—delivered where, when, and how needed.

Mission

To develop and advocate for the use of scientific, clinical and programmatic evidence in reproductive and maternal health, assuring that everyone benefits from the fruits of science and technology.

Beverly Winikoff, M.D., M.P.H., is the founder and president of Gynuity Heath Projects.
