Gynuity began in 2003 with a smallteam willing to take risks on thefrontiers of reproductive and maternalhealth by using science as a tool tomake services more accessible, ofhigher quality, and easier to use. Thatsame maverick spirit lives on todayin our multi-lingual staff and expertconsultants who have stayed true toour original vision and mission. Wehave developed a core approach forour work that is adaptable to localneeds and circumstances.

To develop and advocate for the use of scientific, clinical and programmatic evidence in reproductive and maternal health, assuring that each individual benefits from the fruits of medical science and technology

Beverly Winikoff, M.D., M.P.H., a physician and public health scientist, founded Gynuity which started operations in 2003.
