Misoprostol for Postabortion Care in Mexico State

In collaboration with the Mexico State Ministry of Health Gynuity organized two meetings to evaluate the progress and challenges of an initiative aimed at introducing misoprostol for treatment of incomplete abortion in primary health care units and secondary level hospitals throughout the state. Over 75 participants shared lessons learned and discussed next steps to increase use of the method and reduce reliance on standard surgical treatment for this common health concern.
