FIGO Regional Workshops on Prevention of Unsafe Abortion

In May and June Gynuity participated in the third of a series of workshops organized by FIGO to present the progress of country affiliates’ efforts and action plans for a project on prevention of unsafe abortion. Gynuity staff members presented updates on our relevant work in each of 4 regional meetings covering the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South America, Central America and the Caribbean, and Central and Eastern Europe and met with country delegates to determine opportunities for collaboration to support country-level efforts to meet goals and objectives of their respective work plans.
