Training for Mexican Study Team to Introduce Mifepristone Medical Abortion

On May 17-18, Gynuity conducted a training of a study team comprised of four health centers of the Secretary of Health of Mexico City that will participate in the first research trial of mifepristone for medical abortion in the country. Two hospitals and two primary health care centers will conduct an evidence-based protocol evaluating mifepristone-misoprostol for first trimester pregnancy termination. The primary purpose of the study is to gather data to contribute to the eventual registration of mifepristone in Mexico.
