ARHP Awards Dr. Beverly Winikoff the Irvin M. Cushner Lectureship

The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) selected Gynuity’s President, Dr. Beverly Winikoff, to receive the Irvin M. Cushner Lectureship award at the annual conference in September. This major award signifies Dr. Winikoff’s outstanding contribution to the field of reproductive health.

The award is given in honor of Dr. Irvin M. Cushner, an influential leader in modern reproductive health care and public health and a true champion of reproductive rights and social welfare in the United States. Some of the past recipients of the award include three former U.S. Surgeon Generals, political luminaries, and public health leaders. As part of the award Dr. Winikoff will deliver a plenary lecture at the opening of the annual ARHP meeting, to be held September 30-October 3, 2009 in Los Angeles, California.
