Telemedicine Abortion Study Featured on Local Hawaii News Station
January 3rd, 2018
Gynuity’s innovative work on telemedicine provision of abortion was featured on local news station Hawaii News Now by reporter Mahealani Richardson. Hawaii is one of four states in the U.S. where eligible women who may have difficulty getting to an abortion clinic can receive abortion pills in the mail. In Hawaii, abortion care is only available on two islands and women living on other islands must fly in to receive care.
