Gynuity has been working since 2016 on a project that raises awareness among health care professionals and decision makers in Mexico about midwifery practice and team-based care solutions for increasing quality of care and access to quality maternal and neonatal health and sexual and reproductive health services. A training course for health professionals was created to disseminate evidence and information on these concepts: “Evidence on midwifery and task-sharing for maternal and neonatal health and sexual and reproductive health care”. (Evidencias sobre partería y tareas compartidas para la atención en salud materna y neonatal y salud sexual y reproductiva). A training curriculum that accompanies the course can be requested at pubinfo@gynuity.org.
