Gynuity Health Projects is a non-profit organization dedicated to making reproductive and maternal health technologies more widely available at reasonable cost, provided in the context of high-quality services and offered in a way that recognizes the dignity and autonomy of every individual.

A world in which everyone has access to safe and effective reproductive and maternal health care—delivered where, when, and how needed.

Mission

To develop and advocate for the use of scientific, clinical and programmatic evidence in reproductive and maternal health, assuring that everyone benefits from the fruits of science and technology.

Approach

We take a strategic and interconnected approach to achieve our goals. We challenge the status quo and do not shy away from taking risks in all areas of our work, including what topics we study, who we collaborate with, and where we work.

• Each project we develop starts with practical questions and involves conversations with community leaders, providers and policymakers to help us understand shortfalls in health care.
• We design studies and harness the power of collaborative research to evaluate simple, affordable technologies and person-centered models of care.
• We publish our research in scientific journals and disseminate the findings to diverse audiences, including researchers, providers, policymakers, and health advocates.
• We translate our research and programmatic knowledge into compelling resources for use by others to influence and impact policy and practice globally.
