Dissemination Meeting of 2nd Trimester Medical Abortion Study

Yerevan, Armenia

Gynuity convened a dissemination meeting on the results of “Mifepristone and misoprostol for mid-trimester termination of pregnancy (13-22 weeks LMP) in Armenia." The study was conducted in two clinics in Yerevan. Thirty participants attended the dissemination meeting including representatives from the Ministry of Health, local NGO, pharmaceutical company and medical providers. The dissemination meeting included a presentation on the current situation on elective termination of pregnancy in Armenia, Gynuity presentations on mifepristone-misoprostol medical abortion in the first and second trimesters, as well as a presentation on the results of the study.
