Roundtable Meeting “Improving Safe Abortion Services in Armenia,”

Gynuity organized a round-table meeting, “Improving Safe Abortion Services in Armenia.” The half-day meeting was attended by 25 participants including representatives from the Ministry of Health, local NGO, pharmaceutical companies and medical providers. Gynuity representatives presented findings from an assessment of medical abortion services at previous research sites. Presentations were followed by discussion on ways to overcome challenges and obstacles identified, and to increase access to medical abortion services and ensure that high-quality services are being provided.
