First Trimester Medical Abortion in Kazakhstan

On October 17-18, 2013 Gynuity conducted a study training on the clinic protocol titled “Acceptability and feasibility of a simplified medical abortion regimen in Kazakhstan: A study of 600 µg sublingual misoprostol following 200 mg mifepristone for abortion up to 70 days gestation”. Ten obstetrician/gynecologists from two clinics in Almaty and two medical facilities in Astana as well as three staff from the Kazakhstan Association on Sexual and Reproductive Health (KMPA) attended the training.
