Date
March 6th, 2009

At the request of Mexico City’s Secretary of Health, Gynuity conducted a training series for staff members from 14 secondary and tertiary level hospitals on the use of misoprostol to treat incomplete abortion and miscarriage. Over 60 individuals participated in the sessions representing multidisciplinary teams comprised of physicians, nurses, social workers and administrators. The purpose of the training was to prepare clinical staff working in emergency care settings to introduce misoprostol as a first line treatment for this indication.
