Misoprostol for Incomplete Abortion Mexico Expansion Meeting

Through a renewal grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Gynuity continues to work at the state level in Mexico to support the introduction of a misoprostol protocol for treatment of incomplete abortion. Representatives from three participating states from the first phase of the project shared experiences with representatives from new state representatives invited to participate in the second phase. The second phase of the project involves expanding to additional health care centers in each state and adding 3 new states in southern Mexico, focusing on lower levels of the health care system and indigenous populations.
