Misoprostol for PAC Project Dissemination Mexican States

In January and March, 2012, Gynuity and local Secretariats of Health in Querétaro and Veracruz, Mexico, organized state-wide meetings to share the results of projects in public sector hospitals aimed at increasing awareness and use of misoprostol for treatment of incomplete abortion. The meetings gathered chiefs of relevant departments and health care providers from secondary and tertiary level hospitals to discuss strategies for expansion into additional health care centers in each state.
