MamaMiso Local Dissemination Meeting –Mable, Uganda

Following the completion of “MamaMiso: A study of self-administered misoprostol to prevent bleeding after childbirth in the community” a local dissemination meeting was arranged in Mbale, Eastern Uganda. A total of 40 people were present which included study midwives, clinicians, village health workers, and key district health office and hospital officials. Presentations on the study findings, feasibility, and safety were presented followed by discussions of the midwives experiences in the study.
