Second Trimester Medical Abortion Study Training in Armenia

On May 8, 2014, Gynuity held a training in the capital city of Yerevan on the clinical protocol “A randomized controlled trial to compare sublingual and buccal misoprostol regimens after mifepristone for termination of pregnancy 13 – 21 weeks LMP.” The training was attended by the study team, consisting of three obstetrician/gynecologists and one nurse from the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, the training was attended by one representative from the local NGO Women’s Rights Center, who is coordinating the clinical study.
