Training for Medical Abortion in Azerbaijan

Gynuity trained thirty obstetricians/gynecologists from Ganja, Zaqatala and neighboring cities on medical abortion to increase awareness of the method among local providers as well as strengthen clinicians’ capacity to provide MA services. This regional training was followed by a smaller training for the upcoming clinical study “Acceptability and feasibility of a demedicalized medical abortion regimen in Azerbaijan”. That training was also held in Ganja, and was attended by two principal investigators and four study team members from Ganja and Zaqatala.
